Free Meeting. 1.5 CPD hours Guest Speaker Dr Helen Lawal to give us the lowdown on the latest in Sexual Health. We will begin with a refreshing short mindfulness exercise with Dr Angela Goyal.

About The Event
We will welcome you to an optional meditation from Dr Angela Goyal, to refresh the mind after a long day.
The main focus of the evening will be the sexual health update. Dr Helen Lawal, our Guest speaker, will take us through an update on sexual health with key tips for GPs and tips in managing patients. Helen is a GP with a specialism in sexual health and she works at The Leeds Centre for Sexual Health.

Helen Lawal
Nigerian born and Yorkshire bred, Helen splits her week between working at a sexual and contraceptive clinic and as a GP. She co-presented the Channel 4 series How To Stay Well which aired in August 2017 and has now joined the presenting team of Channel 4’s successful series, Food Unwrapped.
Helen holds degrees in both Sport and Exercise Science (University of Leeds) and Medicine (Hull-York Medical School) and undertook her GP training at University College London Hospital. During her time, spent at Mortimer Market Sexual Health clinic in central London achieved she completed her DFSRH. She also has her LoC in SDI and is currently undertaking her IUT training. Her interests are now moving more towards functional or lifestyle medicine. Away from medicine Helen is a keen health and lifestyle blogger, loves Yoga and practices mindfulness and meditation.

This meeting is open to GP Partners, Locum GPs, Salaried GPs and Nurse practitioners working in West Yorkshire. When completing the registration form, please indicate your practice. Locums should use one of the practices they work at.
Please ensure you book a place, if you would like to attend. If you attend the meeting without registration, we may not be able to allow you to attend.
