Christmas Chocolate Conundrum

I have found that in the run up to Christmas the old sugar addict in me has resurfaced. It's so difficult being around all the chocolates, cakes and booze. I tell myself that 'one won't hurt' and before I know it the off switch doesn't work. Sugar is so addictive.

So I'm going to have to go back to a complete no no. To help me out I've made these protein chocolate balls. Google 'healthy chocolate balls' for a variety of recipes. Mine is adapted from Nutritiously Natty. I'll be looking out for more recipes like this over the next few weeks to keep myself in with the Christmas spirit. 🎄🎅

These contain A cup of dried figs Half cup almonds Half cup flax seeds Half cup mixed nuts of your choice eg walnuts, hazel nuts, pumpkin seeds A spoon of cinnamon 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder

Blend all together

Mix in: Half bar 100% dark chocolate cut into chunks 1 spoon sunflower seeds

Roll into balls, store in fridge and tuck in when you have chock cravings and temptations around.
